ECU 2010 Ricardo Fujikawa DC, MD

 

Head of Studies of Chiropractic at the Real Centro Universitario (RCU) in Spain. Dr. Fujikawa graduated from Marilia Medical School and is board certified Internal Medicine and Hematology & Hemotherapy. He worked as a medical missionary in East Africa, and after having his life changed under chiropractic care, he sold his medical practice and went to Palmer College of Chiropractic from where he graduated with honors. Dr. Fujikawa worked as Palmer College of Chiropractic liaison in Brazil at Feevale University Centre – College of Chiropractic, the first chiropractic educational programme in Latin America, becoming the clinical coordinator of that school. He was president of the Brazilian Chiropractic Association until 2007 and council representative of Latin America Region with the WFC. In 2008, Dr. Fujikawa moved to Spain to lead the first chiropractic school in Spain. He has a special interest in chiropractic education and research.
