The European Chiropractors' Union (ECU) was created in London in 1932 by Great Britain, Belgium and Switzerland. Presently 20 National Chiropractors' Associations are members of the Union.

As of January 1st , 2011 all ECU members have access to Chiropractic and Manual Therapies. This new and exciting free online research journal can be found at: www.chiromt.com

A Scientific Journal for European Chiropractors
Chiropractic and Manual Therapies is an open access online journal. It is produced by BioMed Central, which produces over 250 medical online journals on a range of subjects. C&MT is a joint venture between the European Academy of Chiropractic (EAC) and the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia (COCA). It has an Editorial Board, Chaired by Bruce Walker and comprising members from Europe and Australasia.
