The European Academy of Chiropractic is the only post graduate professional institution in Europe accepted by the Chiropractic profession where its awards have pan-national acceptance and credibility.
As an apolitical organisation set up by the profession for the profession, it is available to and supportive of, all national associations in membership of the European Chiropractors Union. It supports and promotes research, conventions, Graduate Education Programmes and Continued Professional Development through a life-long learning pathway for the European chiropractors.
The Academy acts as a forum for international academic cooperation for the chiropractic profession in Europe and beyond and allows integration and collaboration through research and postgraduate professional education. Through the professional development pathways in general practice and specialities, it ensures that personal requirements and needs are not only met, but achieved.
The benefits of membership include; subsidised access to conferences, CPD events and seminars, online subscription to the European Journal of Chiropractic, access to member’s only web-based resources, access to specialist pathways and the use of postnominal recognition and certification (MEAC, FEAC, etc)
As part of the Academy you are supporting our professions high educational standards and agree with professional postgraduate education and ongoing research. With these standards and a structure which reflects them, the profession is showing its maturity and its willingness to strive for improvement. By becoming a member of the Academy, you are embracing and supporting the future of the profession and its place in international healthcare.
As an individual, your involvement in the Academy, whether at local CPD meetings, within national colleges or specialist colleges, shows that you support for the continued development of your profession. The academy is therefore there for you and through you, the European chiropractic profession.

2. Complete the application form and send with proof of above payment to the Secretary General of the EAC (address at top of application form);
3. Your certificate will be forwarded to you.

The Academic Council of the EAC has determined that the following may receive a one third discount on the normal membership fees;
- Any national or associate national association that enrolls 50% or more of its members.
- Any ECCE accredited or ECCE nominated for accreditation European chiropractic institution that enrolls 50% or more of its academic faculty.
The Academic Council of the EAC has also determined that the following individuals receive a waiver of their annual EAC membership fees;
- All members of the Academic Council of the EAC
- All chairpersons of the Specialty Colleges
- All founding fellows as dictated in the bylaws of the EAC
